“The universe is always speaking to us… sending us little messages, causing coincidences and serendipities, reminding us to stop, to look around, to believe in something else, something more” -Nancy Thayer
They say to follow the signs. I took the advice and followed the signs. Where these signs led me, was to what I believe, is the first man and to the historical paradise, Eden. This is also my first, beginning to end “sign” story of how the events unfolded to lead me here and to this discovery. And its amazing! I mean, I think I can definitively say, on top of these subsequent discoveries, that signs, may truly exist! And if followed, may bare results! Here is my “sign” story or series of events that led me to Adam and Eden:
Over the weekend starting probably Saturday, I saw the word “Genesis” 2 or 3 times. Once on a bumper sticker of a van. Another time on a sign out front of a building. On the third time, I remarked to myself “I guess something wants me to research the Genesis story”. I now had it in mind to start researching and reading this at the completion of my work day and for whatever reason, I did not. Now Sunday is here, I see the word “Genesis” again while out on my travels. This “reminder”, reminded me that this task was still outstanding. So I made a proclamation to myself to “look this up” when I returned home. I returned home and looked it up. Here is what I found:
1. While reading the beginning of Genesis, I immediately took note that these creation events took place in the East. See below Genesis passage:
“8 Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed.”
When I saw east, my mind retreated to its memory banks and served up Aquarius. The giant outlined figure of a Water Bearer that I found in Manitoba, Canada. I said to myself this is an image of a “Man”. Being that I bore easily and knowing the surface story was most likely a coded puzzle with goodies underneath, I started re-reading Genesis from scratch. This time I substituted out the boring part (the surface story) and substituted in, my story. Specifically, I started to read Genesis as if it were talking about the creation of this geographical outline and not a human being. I wanted to conduct a little experiment and see how many pieces, if any, would correlate with this land image.
Pretty straightforward. Should be easy to debunk as there is no way the first man is a geographical figure and not a human being. Should be NONE, NOTHING, NOOOO correlations what so ever because Humans are definitely the 1st man, right? Well, that will be up to you to decide. But prepare yourself, as the following concepts have NEVER been proposed before. These connections have NEVER been drawn. Therefore EVERYONE is hearing this for the first time and immediate understanding is not something I expect right out of the box. This is a cold slap to the face of what is currently known. But the great thing about a cold slap, is that it wakes you up! Snaps you out of it. And this is what I am looking to accomplish. To offer up an explanation and to open it up for debate. Now, continuing with that cold slap..
2. In re-reading Genesis, I found the below passage interesting, as I found myself ruminating over how one would breath life into a geographical figure? What would be considered giving life to such on object? How does an inanimate object become a living being? Here is that passage:
7 Then the Lord God formed a man, from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
Ruminating. Ruminating. What does it mean? How can I draw a connection to the land image from this passage? I hit enter and out came “Nostril”. I said to myself “my land image guy has a nostril!!!”. I then pulled up a Google Map of Manitoba. Located the face of this land image and zoomed in on the nose area. See below screenshot for this highlighted area:
3. Upon zooming in on this identified area, I was looking for any and all names. Name of a river. Name of a lake. Name of a city. Anything or something that I could connect to the Genesis passage. From the below screenshot, you can see that there are only two connectable options, Peden Island and Elcheshen Lake:
Initially, I thought nothing of either. I thought this “nostril” lead was a dead end. The only thing I knew for sure, was that the “El” in “Elcheshen” probably meant its Spanish translation, “the”. So I was thinking “The Cheshen” Lake. Cheshen Lake. What is a Cheshen? I then Googled “Cheshen”. What I noted from the search was that “che shen” was a more popular result. So I started viewing them as two seperate words. “Che” meaning one thing and “shen” meaning another. Now Googling the meaning of “Che”. “Che” has several different interpretations and meanings but one of the more used translations, is “che” equaling “man”. Whoa, here I am trying to connect a “man” to this land feature and I now have a possible “man” sighting.
Right about now I can feel my pulse, pulsating against the keyboard where my hands lay. My heart no longer wandering, has latched on to the historic potential a find like this may have. I ask, “What in the name of everything does “shen” mean??” I mean, how much better can “The Man xxxx” Lake get? I Google “shen”. It gets better! See below for a screenshot of the webpage excerpt:
Shén (in rising 2nd tone) is the Modern Standard Chinese pronunciation of 神 “spirit; god, deity; spiritual, supernatural; awareness, consciousness etc
“shen” means God or Deity! The entire word “Elcheshen” can be roughly translated to mean “The Man God/The Man Deity” or “The God Man/The Deity Man”. Wow!!! So to recap, in trying to prove that the Genesis portion of the Bible may be referring to not, the creation of a human man but to this geographical “man”, I followed a logical step in investigating what was given, “the nostril” and found a Lake that makes up the nostril named “The Man God/The Man Deity” or “The God Man/The Deity Man”!!
4. Great start but even I realize this is tenuous at best with more required. I have more. I have Eden more. From the below Genesis passage, the first man Adam is located in the garden of Eden:
“8 Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed.”
Now, if I believe this geographical land image to be Adam, Eden has to be here as well. I need to find something around or near this land image that points or screams, I am Eden. Or this is Eden. If I can, then the likely hood of this geographical image being Adam, exponentially increases. Soooo, can I? I can! But first, we need to play a little word game with the word, “Eden”. As you saw with the dissection of “Elcheshen”, words are meant to be played with, as words can contain other words which may not be apparent on the surface. In this case, I wanted to know what other words could be formed using “EDEN”. Almost immediately, I found what I was looking for or “expected” (signs said so).
What I determined was that “EDEN” rearranged could also spell “DENE”. Once “Dene” registered, in took nano seconds to remember a particular area of research, I had performed in this region after finding this geographical land image. Specifically, research into the indigenous population that reside in this area of Manitoba. See the below passage detailing the background of these indigenous indians native to this area of Manitoba:
The Sayisi Dene, (People of the East), are Chipewyan, a Dene First Nation Aboriginal peoples of Canada group living in northern Manitoba
Whoa, wait! So what you are telling me is, that the area I am researching as the possible home to Eden, is actually home to the Eden\Dene tribe! And not just ANY tribe, they are a “First Nation” tribe. THE VERY FIRST NATION!!! I am looking for the FIRST MAN in the homeland of the FIRST NATION!!! As Emeril would say, Bammm!!!
Can it be? Is it? Maybe. Even though another possible connection may have been made here, I still need more. I will end the post here and let this marinate for awhile. In part 2, I will look to complete this story by investigating Eve’s whereabouts. In the mean time, I guess I have more “susudio” reading ahead of me. Thanks for reading and be sure to check back for more to this fascinating story.
Edit: Had to listen to the Phil Collins “Susudio” song after posting that and found this lyric funny in light of my post: “Ooh, give me a chance, give me a sign“. Signs within signs! Love it!
